Yogesh M. Desai passed away in the early hours of Friday, May 27 at his home in Austin, Texas.

Yogesh was preceded in death by his mother, Kamuben Desai, father, Manubhai V. Desai, sister, Minaxi, and brother Vijay. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pragna, his sons, Siddharth and his wife Marjte, and Kartikay, his brothers Mahesh, and Umesh and wife Manisha; and sister Hina and her husband Vinay. He was a beloved uncle to Nayan, Kurren, Rahul, Alina, and Pallavi and a dear friend to many around the world.

Yogesh was born on October 29th, 1954 in Lusaka, Zambia and lived in both Pemba and Lusaka, spending his formative years at Canisius College. He then moved to America where he attended Southern Illinois University. Yogesh married his wife Pragna in Navsari, India on May 22, 1977. The family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska in 1980, where Yogesh managed a business and became an ardent Husker fan - a trait shared by many in the family.

While Yogesh's love for the Huskers was a thing to behold, nothing lit up his heart like his love for his wife and his sons, whom he was incredibly proud of and grateful for.

Funeral Services will be Friday, June 3, 2022 from 2:00PM to 6:00PM at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745.
