Timothy Barton Hale, age 69 of Austin, TX passed away on Oct.22, 2022. He was born on Nov. 25, 1952 in Sacramento CA. and was the fifth child of John F. Hale and Ary Lee (Barton) Hale.

He spent much of his childhood in California and later Utah where he attended middle school and two years of high school, later moving to Fredericksburg TX where he graduated in 1970.

Attending college in Uvalde TX, he met his wife, Janet Lee (Powell) Hale and spent the last 48 years loving her and their two sons.,

Tim spent much of his working career as a heavy machine operator and in electrical construction. Among his many interests were playing his guitar, woodworking, bar· bque , baking, playing dominoes, model kit building, reading about history, and listening to blues music. He took enormous pride in his 1947 Harley motorcycle and of course spending time with grandkids. He was passionate in all he endeavored.

Along with his wife Jan, survivors include son Timothy John (TJ) Hale and daughter· in· law, Kat and grandson Michael John Hale, son Harley Barton Hale and grandson Johnny Axel Lee-Hale.

Brother Terry 0. Hale and sister-in law Toni Hale, nephews Zachary Hale and Seth Hale.

A celebration of life will be planned for the future.
