Theodora "Dora" Yanes, age 92, was born March 8, 1930 to Encarnacion and Martha Lopez. She raised 9 children while also employed with Brackenridge Hospital as a housekeeping supervisor until she retired in 1984.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. An excellent cook, (her tortillas were the best!) she loved our breakfast gatherings in her later years, where she was able to visit with her kids and grandkids.

She was a strong woman who overcame many challenges in life. Dora is proceeded in death by her husband, Eugene Yanes Jr. and son-in-lawn, Johnny Martinez.

She is survived by her children, Eugene III and wife, Mary; Rudy and wife, Lupe; Hector and wife, Lesa; Delphine and husband, Gabriel Samilpa; Susan Martinez; Richard and wife, Tammy; Roy and wife, Jude; Yolanda Conant, and Gary Yanes. She is also survived by her brother, Johnny Lopez and sister, Martha Padilla. She had 27 grandkids, 45 great grandkids and 8 great great grandkids.

Dora will be truly missed!
