Susan Leigh Steele, age 57 of Dripping Springs, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022. Susan was born on June 22, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas to John Philip Steel and Shirley Sue Evans Steele. Susan began 1st grade in Dripping Springs and graduated from Dripping Springs. She was employed with the State of Texas in the Employee Retirement System until 2006. Susan was a very good and passionate artist. She was very proud to be able to continue making art contribution using her tablet for her church. Susan was a member of St John-San Juan Lutheran Church.

Susan was preceded in death by her father John Philip Steel and brother Stephen Kelly Steele. She is survived by her mother Shirley Steele and brother Philip Evans Steele.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Susan on Saturday February 4, 2023 at St John-San Juan Lutheran Church located at 409 W Ben White Blvd. Austin Texas 78704. Fellowship and meal will begin at 12:30pm -1:30 pm. Family has requested to please wear mask until you are seated and eating. Service will begin at 2:00 PM., please wear causal colorful clothes to honor Susan.
