Obituary for Sharon Hill Farmer

Sharon "Sherry" Lynn (Hill) Farmer was born in Austin, Texas on September 25, 1952, and passed from this life on September 20, 2022, at her home in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Farmer; her daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Joel Shoemake; her granddaughter, Naomi Shoemake; along with stepdaughter Aimee Golden and her husband Matt, stepson David Farmer, sister Charolotte Lucas, brothers Terry and Tommy Hill, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws, and her faithful dog Honey.

She was preceded in death by her mother Addie Bell Hill, her father K.C. Hill, her sister Betty Stewart, and her brother Ken Hill.

Sherry was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She loved Sonic ice, singing in her church choir, playing the piano, dominoes, crafting, making Christmas cookies with her family, reading to children, and was a wonderful listener. She loved her family and friends well. She smiled easily and laughed often and gave the best hugs ever. Her laughter was contagious and brought a smile to the faces of everyone around her.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made to the Forest General Healthcare Foundation, designated for Asbury Hospice House.
