Nancy Lee Jurica Corcoran passed away on April 20, 2022.

She is survived by her husband Jim, of 54 years of marriage, son Chris Corcoran, son Kelly Corcoran and wife Amy and grandsons, A. J. and Cade, and daughter Jamie Sauls and husband, Clint. Nancy grew up on a farm near Corpus Christi and graduated from West Oso High School. She went on to receive her B.S. degree from Texas College of Arts and Industries, and her M.Ed. degree from the University of Houston. She was an exceptional math teacher to middle school students for over 40 years. She was teacher of the year at both Porter Junior High and Dahlstom Middle School.

She was an avid and exceptional quilter having placed first at the Austin Quilt Show with her quilts.

She enjoyed nothing more than socializing with friends and family. She especially enjoyed Bunco parties with her teacher friends, sewing bees with her quilting friends, and the weekly Crafty Ladies meetings at St. Catherine of Siena Church. And, coming from a large family, she never missed the annual family reunions.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, May 2, at Harrell Funeral Home of Austin, with a rosary beginning at 7:00pm. The funeral mass will follow at St. Catherine of Siena Church on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 10:00 AM.

The family request donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to the Huntington's Disease Society (http://texas.hdsa.org/)
