Maria Del Carmen "Carmela" Patiño (nee Botello),age 86, of Buda, Texas earned her angel wings on March 8, 2023 in Kyle, Texas. Carmela was born in Arroyo Seco, Queretaro to Miguel Botello Valdez and Maria Cristina Torres de Botello on August 14, 1936.

Carmela retired from Del Monte Corporation. She enjoyed, gardening, traveling and cooking authentic dishes for her loved ones. She was part of a generation of humble beginnings who sacrificed for all her children. She was a very loving parent, grandmother, and great grandmother with a warm, loving, beautiful soul. Her love and devotion to family was unmatched. She instilled in her children a desire to achieve new heights in their personal lives, and thus pass it forward to the new generations. Her legacy and memory will live on with her children and grandchildren, whom were her world.

Carmela is preceded in death by her husband Arnulfo, her son Hector, her daughters Ana Maria, and Ana Delia and her parents Miguel and Cristina, sisters Julia, Elodia, Margarita, and her brothers Ignacio and Margarito.

Carmela is loved and will be dearly missed by her children Enrique (Elizabeth), Carmen (Joe), Raquel (Rene), Ricardo (Denise), Raul (Melissa deceased), Rene (Lillian), and Rosalinda (John). As well as 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
