Linda Susan Hammack, 73, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.

Susan was born August 15, 1948, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. As a lifelong Texan, Susan grew up near Diamond Hill and the Stockyards in Fort Worth, before moving to Austin in 1973. Susan was a skilled worker and loyal employee, with a long career in the medical and technology industries in Austin.

Susan was a beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother. Susan was a voracious reader and especially enjoyed mysteries, watching movies, crocheting and playing World of Warcraft. More than anything, Susan loved to spend time with her family and was an immensely proud mother, aunt, and grandmother.

Susan was predeceased by her mother, Audrey Beatrice Miles; and brothers, Jackie Hammack and David Miles.

Susan is survived by her stepfather, J.C. Miles; children, Stephen Young, Yvette Giraud, Allison Cox, and Brian Cox; grandchildren, Collette, Jesse, Alexis, Gisele, Savannah, Marley and Dylan, as well as many nieces and nephews.
