Obituary for Joshua Bryan Price

Joshua Bryan Price (Josh) left this world too soon on January 31st, 2023. Joshua was born in Austin, Texas on Friday, October 19th 1990 to Lewis Price and Irma Mizar. He was such a beautiful baby, child, and a wonderful young man. Joshua developed his lifelong friendships at Baranoff Elementary School, Bailey Middle School and Bowie High School where he excelled on the baseball diamond. Baseball was life to Joshua. He was a true "South Austinite" that graduated from Bowie High School in 2009. He continued his education at Texas State University where his circle of friends grew bigger. Joshua found his love for the food and beverage industry and a home at Serranos where he remained until his passing.

Joshua was a son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, great friend and a co-worker. Joshua lived life to the fullest with such a big heart and kindness to everyone he met. He brought love and laughter everywhere he went and will be missed by all who love him.

Joshua is predeceased by his grandparents, Clift Price, Gloria Pfluger, Juanita Flores and his "auntie" Sonia Cavozos. Left to cherish Joshua's memory are his mom, Irma Mizar and AJ Mizar, dad Lewis Price and Joany Price, two brothers Anthony Sherman and Diego Mizar, two sisters Meredith Massey Kloetzer and Madeline Massey Carl. His grandfather Felix Flores Sr. from Mathis Texas, and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who love him dearly.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX. Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held on Thursday, February 16, 1923 at Harrell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers Joshua's family would like for you to make donations to the Oak Hill Youth Sports Association at OHYSA.com or Good Works Austin which supports local restaurants and their employees at goodworksaustin.org. Flowers are still welcome.
