John Clyde (Jake) Eastman

December 10, 1932 - March 7, 2023

John Clyde (Jake) Eastman was born on December 10, 1932 in Vega, Texas. At age 8, his family moved to Lytle, Texas. Jake graduated from A&I College with a BA in Agriculture. He taught school in Vega and Hondo, Texas. He served in the army signal corps and reserves. Later, Jake was a realtor and broker for 50 years. Jake was an active member of Kingsland Community Church in Kingsland, Texas, and St. Andrew's Church & School in San Antonio, Texas.

Jake was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Kittie Eastman, and grandson Michael Meador II.

Jake is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jo Ann Eastman; two sons: Jerry Don (J.D.) Eastman and Ron Kipps Eastman; daughters: Kathi Kiesel, Patti Conway, Lisa McConkey; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; his sister: Edith Ann Fulghum; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the nurses at Amedisys Hospice, and for all the prayers and blessings.

Our God has received another Cowboy. Jake will be greatly missed.
