Joe Henry Saenz, 73, of Austin, Texas, passed on January 14, 2023, following a bicycle accident. He was born September 28, 1949 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Joe attended Crozier Technical High School in Dallas, Texas, and joined the U.S. Marines at age 19. He was a good painter who loved to play disc golf and was an avid pool player. He was known as "The Legend" and won countless tournaments at "The 04 Lounge" in Austin, Texas. He will be remembered as a kindhearted person who was always trying to help someone in need.

Joe was predeceased by his parents, Celso and Zulema Saenz, and his younger, brother, Victor Saenz.

He is survived by three sisters, Linda Saenz Guerra, Rosemary Saenz Rodriguez, and Sandra Saenz Fedele; and three brothers, Celso Saenz, Richard Saenz, and Robert Saenz.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Harrell Funeral Home of Austin, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, Texas.
