Obituary for Jeffrey Kevin Clarke

Our deeply beloved and cherished Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Nephew and Friend Jeffrey Kevin Clarke "Bear", 61, lost his battle to stage IV Metastatic Prostate Cancer on December 2, 2022 in Austin TX.

Jeffrey Kevin Clarke was born in Covina California on April 16, 1961.

Jeff joined the U.S. Navy after high school where he worked as a boiler technician. He loved the strict routine and working on a ship.

After the Navy he worked as a sheet metal fabricator for many years. Due to an injury he decided to further his education and leave construction where he was no longer capable of working in the field.

Jeff earned his Bachelors Degree from Cal Poly Pomona, California while working full time and devoting plenty of time to his family.

Jeff was a special projects manager at Mtech Mechanical in Round Rock TX where he was well loved and respected by many.

Jeff, "Bear", was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He always put his family first. His love for his family was evident to all who knew him, as he spoke very highly of them. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his family.

His faith was the most important thing to him. He said that although he suffered tremendously with his cancer, he wouldn't trade it for anything because it drew him closer to Jesus.

Jeff was a man of great faith, and he lived out his faith daily. Many people have come to know Christ because of him.

Jeff was also a football fanatic. He never missed a game. Football season made him so happy and was something he always looked forward to. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys since he was a boy.

Jeff is survived by his wife Melania, children Jeffrey and Jessica, son-in - law Kaleb, grandchildren Kori, Sawyer and Evie, and his mother Karyn and aunt Suzanne.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Edward and Geraldine McCreary.
