Ingalill
Wreyford
Ingalill Larson Wreyford passed away on January 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family as she took her final breath. Having battled cancer for two and a half years, she and her family felt blessed to have had so much time together. Ingalill was the devoted wife of Larry and loving mother to Jennifer and Kristine, grandmother to Austin, Kendahl, Melanie, and August, and great grandmother to four.
Ingalill was born in Borås, Sweden on September 10, 1951, to loving parents Valborg Pettersson and Sven Larsson. She grew up in a struggling artist family, sharing a bedroom with her mother and her brother Sören which led to her having high ambitions and big dreams. She was a natural at learning foreign languages and spoke Swedish, German, and English fluently. She also studied French, Spanish and Latin. When she was young, she worked as a guide for the city of Gothenburg, though she had recurring dreams of crossing the ocean to live in America.
When she met Larry, she knew he was the one. Exactly one year from their first date they tied the knot and were married for 46 years. Their love was strong and an inspiration to all, proving that true love really does exist. Together they built several businesses, with Ingalill handling everything pertaining to organizing and accounting. Together they were the perfect team.
She was a devoted mother who was always there for her daughters, no matter what - even if it meant flying across an ocean. She instilled strength and wisdom in her daughters and helped guide them throughout their lives.
Ingalill was a very kind, caring, and giving person who always put the needs of others before her own. She was full of advice and tried her hardest to always find a solution to others' problems. She enjoyed gardening, and in her final days lay overlooking her garden and the beauty of the river shimmering in the sunlight.
The funeral service will be held at Harrell Funeral Home in Kingsland TX. on January 14, 2023, at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
Ingalill was a source of inspiration to us all. From her we learned to carry hope in our hearts, and to give kindness away freely. She will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Ingalill, we love you so much. Rest in peace.
