Ignacio Carranza Sr.

Age 73, From Austin, Texas Departed on November 1, 2022.

Ignacio was a carpenter by trade and with the help of his wife he owned and operated his own construction company for many years. His legacy is his contribution to the original Austin Skyline. He was an amazing father, an Incredible Grandfather, a favorite uncle to many, and a great man to all who knew him.

He leaves behind his wife of 52 years Rose Mary Carranza, his daughter Maria (Rosie) McCabe (Michael) Sons Ignacio Carranza Jr. (Kelly) Jaime Carranza (Crystal) his brother Jose Carranza (Maggie) Sister Graciela Baez (Rey) Sister Martha Reyes (Juan) his 11 grandchildren Erica White (Faith) Veronica Fabian (Rudy) Rebecca Fabian, Eric Fabian (Sadie) Mateo Carranza, Lorenzo Carranza, JC Carranza, Emilio Carranza, Kruz Carranza, Luke Carranza, and Alysabella Carranza, 2 great-grandchildren, Chanel Rose Castelazo, and Ari Martin Del Campo, Also, many sister in-laws and Brothers in-laws. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Our family would like to send a special "Thank You" to the doctors and nurses in ICU at Seton Hospital Round Rock for their medical care and support and to the friends and family who came to be by his side in his final days.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November the 9th from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Service will begin at 11:00AM at Harrel Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, Texas. Graveside service will be held at Assumption Cemetery located at 3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd Austin, Texas immediately following.
