George Eric Guerra was born in Lockhart Texas. He attended Blackshear Elementary, Porter Middle School, St. Michael's Catholic Academy, Bowie High School and Midwestern State University.

He is preceded in death by his father, George Guerra. He is survived by his daughter, December Joy Williamson, his mother, Lupe Smith, his stepfather Walter Smith, his sister Lilly Guerra Layne, nieces Cassidy Layne, Cadence Layne, and nephew and Godson, Calvert Layne.

Eric was presently employed by Titan Factory Direct. He previously worked at Palm Harbor Homes for over 18 years in many positions including General Manager in Austin, Waco and Seguin. He was a gifted salesman who won numerous awards. He was always ready and available to help his customers.

Eric loved his family and enjoyed spending time and playing cards with his lifelong buddies. He also had a huge soft spot for dogs in need. Over the past few years Eric found and rescued Duke, Jasper, and Garrison, who he cared for as his children.
