Obituary for Fritz Parker

Frederick Robinson Parker, "Fritz", passed away March 24, 2022 in Austin, Texas. He was born unto Herbert Winner Parker and Martha Robinson Parker on December 16, 1939 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Fritz graduated from West High in Minneapolis in 1958. He married his high school sweetheart, Janet Pellerino on August 16, 1958 and enlisted in the USAF. He was stationed several places around the globe including England and Germany. He retired at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas in 1978. He opened a family business "Parker Signs" and later changed to "American DeSigns" where he was very successful for many years as he involved himself in the newly formed "Austin Area Sign Association". He was loved by all who knew him. He was an active member at Parker Lane UMC and Berkeley UMC. He also loved road trips, camping, nature and bird watching. He truly will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janet Parker, daughter, Julie Gutierrez, and sons, James Parker and Richard Parker (deceased), nephews, Bob, Tom and John Hiatt, 6 grandchildren, Brandi Abbott, Jennifer Clark, Jessica Koons, John Perry, Nathan Parker, and Aiden Shedd, 9 great grandchildren, Braden and Noah Abbott, Kyle Koons, Kya Peterson and Billy May Clark, Zyler, Dominic and Noah Perry, Amirah Nohemi Chavez-Perry.
