Frances Reynolds passed away on February 10, 2023. Frances was born on July 29, 1936, in Corpus Christi to Henry and Fern Smith. She most recently called Carrollton, Texas home.

Frances was always a kind soul who loved her family and friends. She was raised on a farm outside of LaPryor, Texas and loved to tell stories from those years. She often talked about spending time working with her Father on chores around the farm which is why she said she never learned to cook. She did add that her Mother and sisters were great cooks. Throughout her life she loved being outside. Most of her working career was with Sears where she met many friends. They were like family to her.

Family and friends thought of Frances as being an unselfish, kind and giving person.

Frances will be missed by her children: son Richard Reynolds Jr and daughter Dena Grimes and her husband Adrian Grimes; her grandchildren Kelly Reynolds, Richard Reynolds III and Jon Grimes; sister Waneva "Nina Jo" Chapman and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Claude Smith and Fern Olean Smith (nee' Foster), siblings Sarahbell Hartense "Hartie" Robbins, Omalene Cox, Claude "Sonny" Smith, Baby Darling Dean Smith, Vallejo Dillard and Glyndolen "Gwen" Pitts.

Frances is also missed by the family dog, Pixie who is a rescue from Operation Kindness. She and Pixie spent a lot of time together. If given an opportunity, Frances always loved telling stories about Pixie.
