Eulalia Davila Vargas

February 12, 1933 - March 22, 2022

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, Eulalia Davila Vargas passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, to sit next to Our Father God at the age of 89 on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in Austin, Texas.

Lala as she was known by all, was born in Round Rock, Texas, but lived the majority of her 89 years as an Austinite. A devoted Catholic who attended St. Ignatius Martyr Church. She enjoyed cooking for her loved ones, gardening her rose bushes, and feeding the occasional stray cats that would show up at the door. She took in and cared for numerous relatives and friends when they had a need.

Wife of Serapio "Jr." Vargas. She is survived by her children: John Vargas; Danny Vargas and wife Tricia, Becky Jennifer Long and husband Lee; her grandchildren Dominic; Brianna, Gabby, Brittany and Liam; nieces Linda Rodriguez and Angela Hernandez-Stiger. the Dunn nieces and nephews (Sheila, Sharon, Shawn, Sheryl (Juarez) and Shane).

Visitation 5-7pm, Rosary at 7pm, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin. Funeral mass at 10am, Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at St. Ignatius Martyr Church with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery in Austin.
