Our beloved Esperanza (Hope) Rodriguez age 60, born September 3rd, 1962, a resident of Austin, TX was called by Our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 16, 2022.

During her battle with cancer, she redirected her life to Christ. She will truly be missed by so many, but her spirit will live forever.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Leonora Aguilar; and sister, Nora Aguilar.

She is survived by her husband, Raul Rodriguez, Jr; children, Jesse James Alvarez; step children, Esther, Clarissa and Raul; grandson, Jesse James Alvarez, Jr; father, Jose Aguilar; sisters and brothers, Lucilla Ruiz (Marcos), Dalia Miranda, Joe Aguilar, Jr (Connie), Rosie Castro (Jimmy), Ray Aguilar, Veronica Aguilar, Chris Aguilar (Tammy), Blanca Henderson (Langdon), and Maria Hardin. And many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends, and extended family.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 7:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00AM on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Delores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin, TX. Burial will be at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery in Cedar Creek, TX.
