Earl "Ricky" Wayne Ragland was born on November 22, 1948 in Austin Texas to Jim Ivy Ragland and Clara Ann Rhoades and he departed this life on December 1, 2022 at Granite Mesa Health Center along with the care of Baylor Scott and White Hospice.

Earl married Betty Kay McCormick on January 29,1968. They were blessed with four children: Michelle, Jim, Kimberly and Lisa. Earl and Betty later divorced. He re-married two other times later in life, to Virginia Fanning and then later married Susie Brown, who passed away in 2012. Earl has nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Earl has five siblings: Wanda, Shirley, Kitty Gale, Larry and Glenn. Earl enjoyed helping others in the R.V. Park where he resided and he loved listening to Elvis. He will be deeply missed by many.
