David Anthony Grovner was born on October 26, 1964 in Brunswick,Georgia, and passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 58. David was the son of Vernell Grovner and David Grovner Sr. His father was a chemical factory worker. His mother was an elementary school cafeteria manager.

David was predeceased by mother, Vernell Grovner. He is survived by his son David Andrew Grovner, his brother Curtis Grovner, and his father David Grovner Sr.

David went to high school at Glynn Academy and graduated in 1982. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Savannah State University. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for Sony, Applied Materials, and most recently at Thermon Inc.

David loved the outdoors, sports (especially bowling) and fishing with his son, who was his pride and joy. David was an outgoing, friendly "people-person" with many friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held at Harrell Funeral Home at 1715 Kirby, Kyle, Texas on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 12:00 to 1 PM, followed by a celebration of David's life at 1:00 p.m. at the same location with Pastor Jerry Lyons officiating.

Harrell Funeral Home of Kyle will be handling the funeral arrangements.
