Obituary for Christina Michelle Ontiveros

Christina Michelle Limon and Rudy Xavier Limon Lira

Our beloved Christina Michelle Limon, age 39, and her son Rudy Xavier Limon Lira, age 14, lifelong residents of Austin, Texas passed away on 22 April 2022. They were born on 25 June 1982 in Bedford, Texas and 13 June 2007 in Austin, Texas.

Christina and Xavier are survived by the many family members whom loved them dearly. Alicia Limon Gil (Daughter & Sister), Victor Limon (Father & Grandfather), Angela Ancira (Mother & Grandmother), Patricia Rodriguez (Sister & Aunt), Louis Limon (Brother & Uncle), Freddie Villareal (Brother & Uncle), and many more.

Christina and Xavier are known to be the friendliest and good hearted people you would ever meet. They loved to camp, fish, swim at Barton Springs, eat good food with family and friends and so much more. Christina attended school at Austin High and graduated in 2000. She played for Austin High's softball team, danced Ballet Folklorico, and was an excellent flute player in the Honor Band. She also loved to play softball and kickball at Krieg Field with the community and friends and also seized the opportunity to further her education at Austin Community College. She worked as an Open Records Coordinator for The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council. Her son, Xavier, was known as "T-Rex" or "T-Rexavier" for his love of dinosaurs at an early age. He attended Austin High, just like his mom, and was a key player on the Lacrosse & Football team. Xavier recently transferred to Travis High School to continue his educational journey. He loved gaming online with his friends and exploring the city. He loved to do hands-on activities like helping his grandpa with the house and working on cars as a hobby. They both touched so many lives and have engraved their pure spirits on this world and will be missed.

The family has created a gofundme account https://gofund.me/f97919b9 to help cover the unexpected expenses for services and cremation for two. In advance, the family is grateful to everyone for their love and support through this tragic time.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 6:00PM on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 6:00PM, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00
