Barry F. Riggs, 81, passed away on April 19, 2022 in Austin, TX. Born on October 7, 1940, Barry was the son of Ralph D. Riggs and Mae Francis Riggs.

Barry earned a B.A. in Business from Oklahoma State University, a B.A. in Architecture from The University of Washington, and an M.A. in Architecture from Yale University, and he worked as an architect and site director for Gilbane until retirement. Barry also served in the U.S. Marine Corps, with two tours in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He was a cancer-survivor and an avid triathlete and completed an Ironman Triathlon during his retirement years. Barry had a heartfelt desire for the truth and was an incredible support to everyone he met.

He is survived by his sister, Paula Gardiner, brother-in-law, Max Gardiner, and nephew, Trey Gardiner, who reside in San Antonio, TX, and his niece, Beth Lytle, nephew-in-law, Nathan Lytle, great-nephew, Adrian Lytle, and great-niece, Sabine Lytle, who reside in Atlanta, GA.

A memorial service will be held in Barry's honor; the date, time, and location are pending.
