Obituary for Armando L. Garcia

Armando Ledesma Garcia was born on October 26, 1946 in Austin, TX. He began his Eternal Life on January 25, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Armando was preceded by Armando R. and Lupe Garcia (parents), and James Garcia (brother).

He is survived by Mary, his precious wife of 56 years, brother David Garcia (Evelina) and children Tammy Lorentz (Mike), Gail Trostel (Steven) and Armando Garcia (Steve). Grandchildren: Amy, Anthony, Christopher, Kelsey, Amanda, Ryan and JeanMarie. Great-grandchildren: Madison and Michael. Sisters-In-Law: Yolanda Juarez, Terri Trevino and Denise Estrada whom he loved like sisters. Along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

He began each day by reading, studying, and meditating on God's Word.

For over 40 years, as a talented craftsman, Armando reupholstered furniture throughout Central Texas. He was also an upholstery instructor at ACC for several years.

In his retirement he enjoyed traveling to visit his grandchildren and tending to his lawn and plants. He never retired from reupholstering and building furniture for his children, pieces that they will always cherish.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the ICU Staff at Ascension Seton Round Rock. A very special Thank You to ICU Nurses Judith, Chancey and Esmoy, and Dr. Babbar and RT Rhonda.

The family will Celebrate Armando's Life at Harrell Funeral Home 4435 Frontier Trail Austin, TX 78745 on Sunday, February 12, 2023 between 2pm and 5pm.

Armando will be remembered for his patient and kind heart.
