Obituary for Armando Astran

Armando Astran was born on March 22nd, 1953, in Seguin, Texas and passed away on March 14th, 2023 at the age of 69 in Kyle, Texas with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his father Elizardo Astran Sr, and mother Gregoria Astran. Brother's Elizardo Astran Jr., Arturo Astran, Felipe Astran, Juan Astran, and Jose Luis Astran.

Armando Astran is survived by his wife Gloria Moya Astran of 50 years. His children Trinie Ann Astran of Pflugerville, Texas, Amanda Astran of Kyle, and Gilbert Arthur Astran also of Kyle. Brother's Adan Astran and Albert Astran. Sister's Angelita Astran, Rosalinda Villafuerte, Diana Astran, and Martha Astran.

Armando lived his youth as a migrant worker traveling state to state working a hard laborious life early on. He worked various jobs including Pepsi Cola where he met his future wife, Gloria. Later he would get a job with Capitol Metro where he worked for over 40 years.

He had a strong passion for music which led him to form a band with his coworkers: "The Metro Dudes". Armando was a man that took pride not only in his appearance, but his home and his yard as well.

When Armando wasn't working, playing music, or working on his home; he would spoil his wife with trips to Hawaii, Las Vegas, and to the Windstar casino in Oklahoma.

Armando instilled his most important values such as family, hard work, and respect for others to his children. Armando touched the lives of many in various ways. He will be truly missed and will forever be our one and only.
