Annie Maurine Herbert Long passed away on April 7, 2022, at her home surrounded by family after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. She was 86 years old. Maurine was born on November 4, 1935, in Austin, Texas to William Johnson and Helen Eudine (Gilmore) Herbert, the oldest of three children.

Maurine was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was married to her sweetheart, James F. Long on September 2, 1955, in Austin, Texas and they were sealed for time and all eternity on September 5, 1963, in the Mesa Arizona Temple.

Maurine was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, three children, David Long (Colleen) of Bothell, WA, Lisa Varner (Jeff) of Austin, TX, Kimberly Harmer (Jon Paul) of Weatherford, TX and twelve grandchildren, James, Robert, and Austin (Heidi) Long, Sean (Ashley) and Thomas Varner, Sariah, Eliana, Hyrum, Mathias, Tyrus, Brigham, and Jasper Harmer and four great grandchildren, Adelynn and Asher Long, Lane and Rhett Varner. She is also survived by her bother Paul (Carlie) Herbert and her sister Carol Williams and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held 1:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday, April 16, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2111 Parker Lane. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm and burial will be held at Live Oak Cemetery.
