Obituary for Albert Martinez

Albert Martinez was born in Napa California on May 9th of 1959. Our brother was called to our Lord's Kingdom on Monday August 22. 2022, surrounded by his family members in prayers.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents Ignacio Jose Martinez and Priciliana M. Martinez.

He is survived by his daughter Maria Elena Martinez and grandson's Eric S. Galan and Christopher D. Galan, his son John Albert Martinez with his grandson's Joseph Martinez, James Martinez, and granddaughter Elena Martinez. His wife of 9 years Yogi Zapata, his sister Rosemary Minjarez, brothers Jose Martinez, Ricardo Martinez, Miguel Minjarez along with his fur babies Paco & Bella.

Our brother leaves behind nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Especially his fishing buddies.

Our beloved brother, father, grandpa and tio was a free-spirited soul. He was the light of any family gatherings; his personality was different. He didn't care of gossip or bickering his thoughts where life is too short for any nonsense.

Veto is his childhood nickname we gave him. So many funny stories, at young age he was adventurous, loved climbing trees, fixing on bikes even tried to make a go cart from borrowed stuff from the junk yard.

As my brother got older, experience fatherhood, he loved his Maria & John Albert. Albert loved family time, BBQ, poker, having his cold beer. His passion with fishing was his biggest leisure time to hang out with his fishing buddies, exchanging stories. He had the right to brag, he sure did catch some big fish.

We are very grateful for the loving memories my brother is leaving us all with. We'll miss you.

The family wishes to express our sincere gratitude during these difficult times. We appreciate all the love and support.
